  I brought my cat Chanel in yesterday (we live in Ogdensburg) with an emergency gash in her paw from her claw getting caught he night before. I had $20 to my name, didn't get paid until today, and her normal vet that she's been seeing forever at town/country REFUSED to take her knowing the circumstances. I called all over St. Lawrence County at 3:00 in the morning in a panick the night before last night and no emergency vets were available, and the one in Canton wouldn't take her because she wasn't a current patient. Java was nice enough to let me make payments and get her in yesterday, and it was a blessing. No stitches, she does have a nice sized wound with no bleeding on the bottom of her paw. He did look at her and suggest it was best to let it heal on its own with proper cleaning, antibiotics, and switch her litter box to paper. This is going on the 3rd day since it happened and she is doing better. The doctor was pleasant, the place was gorgeous, and I was even 30 minutes late and the doctor stayed and waited to see my baby. ❤️ So thankful for them working out a payment arrangement with me, and I will definitely be going back there with her for a check up as well as the rest of my fur babies!

  I recently found a mass on my 9 year old pit and brought him to java. He took a sample and gave me some options , I'm taking my very loved pet this early morning for surgery and I'm praying that he is as good as I think and people say ... Although the vet can be rude at times and I can't understand him .... But I like that he is just to the point and dont dick you around ....

  The people here are wonderful with your animals. I took my cat in to be checked out because of a growth on his face and they understood that he was one of our family. The doctor discussed all our options including euthanasia and gave us some meds to try first, we had a follow up appointment and a second infection was present on the other side of his face. We changed antibiotics and waited again hoping to save our fuzzy buddy of 14 yrs. During the week they called to check on him just to see how he was. Needless to say another trip to the office and this time our 14 yr old cat had to have 2 teeth pulled. The doctor advised us he may not make it because of his age. We had to leave him there and wait for the Dr. to do the surgery. Two and a half hours later I got the call from the office to come get him and he was ready to come home. I have my buddy back and I have them to thank for it. Kudos to the whole group.
